Yesterday was Grayson’s 9th birthday and he got to celebrate with all his team mates at their 9 a.m. baseball game, lunch afterwards at Yamamoto (sp)…his favorite Japanese restaurant…and will have still another day of celebrating with his buddies once Daniel is able to be the “pitcher”.  He’s going to have a bunch of his buddies get together for a baseball game then cake and ice cream. Grayson is quite a young man that LOVES sports and can tell you all about most of the them and can name all the good, and not so good, players on each team. He’s an excellent student, a joy to be around, and a delight to all that know and love him. Sorry this is late, Grayson, but you were not forgotten. Enjoy being 9 and know you are special.
We also got news yesterday that Lori’s brother did not survive the horrible car accident. She, along with all her family, are devastated and could sure use more prayers.
The rain has finally stopped and we have sunshine! Now it’s going to get hot…upper 80’s today…but I will NOT complain. I rather have sunshine and warm days vs. rain and cold days.
