Another week has just flown by and here it is Friday again. This week kept us busy and I think that’s always a good thing.
This week we were sadden by the burial of Lori’s brother, entertained at Jerod’s band concert…they did an excellent job by the way…, rejoiced with Tyler as we got to watch his team come from behind and win their ballgame, and celebrated with Meredith and her family at her elementary graduation last night. We also worked in going to Louisville to get our teeth cleaned and a crown prep for George, along with a good lunch at the Bristol…still one of my favorite restaurants…with Melissa, I had a “field of vision” test due to my drooping eyelids…won’t know the results for some time yet…eye lid lift in the future I’m sure, and we’ll be back in Louisville tomorrow to attend a party with some friends. Of course, if we were not doing all the above fun stuff we were working at the “blue house”. Retirement is a wonderful thing!
Not much to write about so guess I’ll go get my morning walk over with. It’s been warm and humid the last several days, but I love it so much better than cold and snowy. Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll be back next week. Enjoy the holiday and remember all the brave men and women that have served and continue to serve our country for our freedom.
Blessings…….
