What a busy, HOT week we have had. We have completed all the BIG jobs at the “blue house”…let’s all say YEAH…and it looks great. Of course, if you didn’t see, or smell, it before we tackled this house you will never appreciate what we have done. The experts that do renovations as a career will find all our imperfections, but we call those “character traits”. I know George will be posting pictures soon. We do have a “punch” list of small things to do, but we should be able to knock those out this week and then start on making the yard look good. We really are pleased with our labors!
I will be seriously decorating the “blue house” this week. We’re hoping we can start renting it out by the end of the month when parents start bringing their kids to Asbury University. We still need living room stuff, mattress/box springs for one bedroom, along with bedding for all three bedrooms, and more small stuff for the kitchen. Since I’m not a fan of shopping, this will be a big chore for me.
I really have no news of interest since all I’ve done is work with George at the “blue house”. Here’s praying all reading this will have a great day of worship, a cooler week, and continue to be blessed beyond measure. Love to you all!
