Carolyn Jean Davis has been a dear friend for 36 + years and the news of her passing was such a shock. She was such an influence on all the children at church, in the community, and wherever she went. She was never too busy, or to tired, to help wherever needed and for as long as needed. Rest in peace sweet friend! I pray for her family and may they find the comfort and peace only God can give.
Carolyn was known for her phrase…”it’s nice to be nice” along with “you get what you get, and don’t pitch a fit”. Since she was the preschool teacher at church for over 30 years, these phrases have been heard, repeated, and re-emphasised by parents often. She was truly loved, and appreciated, by all that knew her, heard about her, or came in contact with her.
As her son stated this morning…heaven will be organized when we get there because of Carolyn. She was the queen of being organized and could remember where everything was. What a gift!
May God continue to bless, comfort, and show love to this family as they adjust to Carolyn being with Jesus. Love each of you.
Blessings….
