It’s early but I’m getting a jump on packing up all our treasures and I’ve found that there is a worse thing than cleaning out the attic…packing the treasures you didn’t put in the attic yard sale! This has to be the worse job ever!!! I know I’ve packed things that won’t be used but I don’t really know just what to do with some things. We still have a box of stuff that belonged to George’s mom and he’s still got to go through all of it and make the decision as what to do with it. My guess is it will all go to Wilmore with us.
Tanya and Daniel have bought a house so once they close, do some cosmetic things to the house, we will know a date that we will be loading up and heading out! We couldn’t have picked a hotter time to be doing all of this! We are setting record heat for our area…16 days of 95 or more with lots of humidity and never a drop of rain. We are now in a drought! I really feel for all those that are working outside.
Guess I better get back to work before I get out of the mood to pack another box or two. We are doing fine so far…I’ve only cried a couple of time when I think about leaving the grandkids that are in Louisville…but I’ll have the Crockett kids to keep me company in Wilmore so I’ll do fine.
