Loving this week…

This is our week for “Indian Summer” and it’s absolutely fabulous here in central Kentucky.  The sun is shining bright, the temperature will get up to the low 70’s, and a perfect day to get some yard work done before we go back to cold weather.

I’ll be headed to Abilene in just four days and that’s when the fun will really begin.  Hopefully, Lawrence, Linda, Lorin, and Patsy have gotten MOST everything sorted and boxed.  Linda Joyce will get there tomorrow and should be able to help wrap those jobs up before the actual move on Monday.  This has been a really LONG, and drawn out move for everyone but especially the folks…they’re getting rid of stuff they’ve kept for far to many years and it’s emotionally painful.  I have adopted the attitude…if you are NOT using it…get rid of it.  If you didn’t wear it this year, you won’t wear it next year…get rid of it.  If you can’t find a place for it…get rid of it.  This is hard at first, but so very freeing once you do it.  I have lots of stuff even though I’ve gotten rid of tons of stuff the last few years.  It’s a shame to have so much…maybe even sinful…when the majority of the world has so little.  Oh well, that’s just my thoughts and you don’t have to agree!

Kyle got all of his braces off yesterday and he is one happy young man.  Jerod and Grayson are just starting the process of braces and the other two, Blake and Meredith, are waiting in line…along with Tyler and Madi.  Thanks goodness for the UofL and the UK dental schools…discounted prices but still not cheap.  Well worth it since they all really needed them.

Guess I’ll find something to do before I hit the back yard.  Have a great week and doing something good and kind for someone that would least expect it.

Blessings………
