Indian summer…

I’m loving these days when it’s cool and brisk at night and warm and balmy during the day…suppose to be 71 today.  I know it won’t last long but I will enjoy every moment while it does.

Today Linda Joyce will be heading to Abilene to continue with “the move” and then tomorrow Lawrence, Linda, and Buddy will head back to Nashville.  This tag team moving experience will be the topic of many conversations for years to come.  On Monday the move will actually take place and that will be much easier than all that’s been going on for weeks now.  Hopefully by the time I leave on the 20th. everything will be in place and a calmness will once more cover mom and dad. Please pray for that to happen…calmness and contentment.

We got all the leaves bagged…14 LARGE leaf bags to be exact…yesterday and we were bushed when we finished.  Hopefully, all the remaining leaves will be mulched and we won’t have to bag them.  I think it would be good if God would have designed the leaves to “come forth” in the spring and then be sucked back into the branches in the fall.  But he didn’t, therefore, we will rake, ache, and be thankful for the trees.

Got to get back to the laundry before I go get my hair trimmed.  Have a great “hump” day and love to you all.

Blessings………
