Today is our grandson Branden Ezell’s birthday and I pray it will be a good one for him. He is still living in Louisville, working at a restaurant, and hoping to some day eventually get back to UofL and finish up his degree…he lacks about 20 hours…so he can move forward in life. I feel certain Branden doesn’t even know about this blog page, but I did want the world to know it’s his special day and I hope it will be a very good and fun filled day for him. Love you, Branden!
We went to Louisville yesterday and got the dental work…cleaning only…done along with my yearly exam and mammogram. Even though we’ve lived here in Wilmore three years, I remain faithful to these two doctors. Should I, or George, ever need a dentist for more that a twice-a-year cleaning I’ll find one in this area…otherwise, I’ll stay with Doug until he retires. We’ve used him since 1974. The yearly exam for me is just that, so why change? Besides, it gives me a chance to see Melissa and the kids…if for only a few minutes. I did manage to get the Christmas list for each of the kids, so guess now I’ll have to go shopping. Not sure what was on their list we can afford, but we’ll give it our best try. Electronic gifts are rather expensive!
We’ll be going back to Louisville tomorrow (Wednesday) for the visitation of our friend, Wayne Clem. I understand his wife, Jeanette, is devastated…as I would be…and we want to spend a little time with her and their children. We’ll also get to eat lunch with Melissa and visit with her a while before coming back home. As for the rest of this week…same ole stuff we do most every week. PIDDLE!!!
Time to start the laundry and get myself in gear for today. Again…HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRANDEN! Glad to say my parents are feeling better and the virus has, hopefully, left the premises…also hoping they didn’t share it with any of their neighbors. Not a good way to spend a few days!
Blessings………
