My stitches are gone!

I got the stitches out of my finger this morning and now for six weeks of therapy.  I said “You’ve got to be kidding?”  Six weeks of therapy for a finger and they said yes since a nerve was involved in all of this.  It is extremely tender and feels as though it’s asleep so they said I have to get the nerve back to wanting to do what it’s suppose to do.  They said it would take at least three months for it to get back to normal.  The good thing is that there is NO cancer from the tumor!  I was also told that should I not do the therapy, I would have trouble with that finger for the remainder of my life…alway tender, hurting, and useless.  Oh well, guess I’ll drive back to Louisville once a week once we get moved.   Will get to see the Gabeharts so that’s a good thing!

George and I were in an all day training session yesterday about dealing with all the different types of personalities in the mission fields and just in your general interaction of people.  It’s quite interesting how the different types react to life, stress, and conflict.  I’ve done this before but it’s been several years so it was a good refresher course.

I’ve run out of boxes again and Wal-Mart was suppose to save their’s for us from the stock they did last night but didn’t do it.  So, no packing today!  I’ll start up again tomorrow.  Guess I’ll catch up on the laundry and some house cleaning.  Life is never dull or boring in the Ezell house!

Sean is suppose to be here tomorrow night for dinner and then Clark, Vanessa, and Lacey will be here on the 15-17…she’s got another follow up appointment with her back doctor.  She’s doing good but they have to keep a watch on her for a year at least.  Scott will be here on the 11-12th to retrieve some furniture we’ve had that belongs to him from his Mimi Ezell.  During all this we will close on this house and our Wilmore house on the 12th.  See, I told you we are never bored!

Got to get busy.  Hopefully, we’ll get some rain today.  It’s a drought here and everything looks so sad.  Have a great weekend and do something just for fun.

Blessings….
