We have made it to February…the ground hog did NOT see his shadow…and the hope of spring coming early is ever so strong. We are currently without snow but that may not be the case by morning…they are saying we’ll get 1-2 inches, but I’m not going to believe it…I love living in denial. Of course, Texas is getting snow so I guess there really is a possibility we’ll get some more. We haven’t warmed up much but we are getting in the 30’s so that’s a definite improvement.
This next week is going to be another week of birthdays…Chase is on Sunday, Tyler is on Monday, I’m on Tuesday, George’s sister-in-law, Marjorie is on Wednesday, and Turner and Neyland will be one on Saturday. I guess that is cause for a week of celebration!  So…HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all of us!!!
Not much happening around here since it’s been so cold…we all stay inside! I am so looking forward to planting some spring flowers and getting to visit with our neighbors again. We have some very sweet neighbors…even though several have moved a few blocks away into some new seminary housing…but we have hopes more “sweet neighbors” will move in before long. This is a great little town and we really do know our neighbors…unlike some places we’ve lived.
Guess I’m out of anything to write about so I’ll get back to my book. Have a great weekend and keep thinking spring. This has really been a cold/snowy winter but this to shall pass…and that’ll be a big YEAH.
