Today is another day of celebrating a grandson’s birthday. Tyler Clayton Gabehart…Melissa’s 3rd son…is turning eleven and so excited about getting older. He had a few friends over yesterday and he said that was a lot of fun…got a new Clue game and money from his friends which he was thrilled to have received. His family went ahead and gave him their present…a new ball glove (a very good one per Tyler) and something else but I don”t remember just what he said. Tonight they will have his selected birthday dinner…steak, great beans, potatoes. Yummy!!!
Tyler is a musically gifted young man, does very well in school, loves the Lord and his family, and he’s an avid wrestler and baseball player. He has a lot of charm, and knows how to use it to get what he’s wanting, and this charm is both a blessing and a curse. I’m very proud of him and so blessed to have him as one of our very special grandkids. I love you Tyler!!!
I guess all you Packer fans are happy and enjoyed watching them beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl last night. This Super Bowl will be remember for a long time…not for the game but for all the snow, ice, and cold. I’m glad it’s over and will hope the Cowboys and Colts do better next year so that they may be in the Super Bowl of 2012.
The laundry is calling so guess I’d better get started on it. Have a great week and I hear more snow is happening in Texas and I pray it doesn’t come our way. Spring wherefore art thou? Love to all.
