Sunday with Scott/Allison

We got to Scott and Alllison’s yesterday and had a very uneventful ride down, thank goodness.  We went by way of the Western KY. Parkway so the traffic was a lot less but there is nothing to see except trees.  It’s like the stretch between Nashville and Jackson, TN…BORING!!!

S/A’s new home is beautiful and spacious and they should have fun for a long time in getting it completely furnished and decorated like they want it.  They are both doing well and we’re enjoying being with them.  We went to a Heritage Festival in Covington yesterday and that was fun…especially going through some of the shops and antique stores.  Then last night we went to a neat restaurant in Braden and that was a good choice…George had fish and I had country fried steak with gravy…YUMMY!

Today is another warm day without any rain which is so desperately needed here.  We’re looking forward to being entertained by Scott and Allison again today…wonder what that will be?  Tomorrow we head for St. Louis.

Tanya and Daniel got into their new home yesterday but had a few bumps along the way.  I know it was stressful but no permanent damage was done…the washroom floor can be repaired along with the hole in the wall.  Some movers are just not very careful but accidents do happen and can all be repaired!  Wonder what kind of tales we’ll have come next Monday?  Hopefully we won’t have any!  But if we do, we will deal with them and go on.

Enjoy the day and do a good deed without being noticed!

Blessings……..
