I have all three lessons planned…not polished but getting there…and I’m looking forward to being with the ladies from OCC on Saturday morning. I will go over on Friday night to be with the ladies that organized and ask me to come speak and I’m praying hard all will be what’s expected and only for glorifying God. I don’t feel I had much time to get that many lessons together, but I’m doing my best and that’s all I can do.
We have reverted back to winter and I’m not pleased about that. It was bitter cold yesterday and only in the 30’s currently but going into the 50’s by afternoon…at least that’s what’s being said…and the sun is shining! I have seen some pansy’s that have been planted around town, and they look so pretty trying to brighten up a bleak flower bed. I MAY get some for the flower boxes for the blue house to brighten it up within the next few weeks. I definitely will put the wavy petunias there…like I had last year…since they looked beautiful until fall but that won’t be until the first of May. Come on Spring!!! We’re all so tired of cold and looking forward to the beauty of central Kentucky.
George put the “blue house” on the VRBO..Vacation Rental By Owner…listings and we have gotten several reservations already and that’s so encouraging. We have a couple more interested but haven’t got the deposit yet. People coming to Keenland in April for the horses, and then a week in September for people coming to tour central KY and this will be their base. We could have rented it many times over for graduation weekend and for Itchitus in June, but they called to late. We’re breaking even, plus a “little” extra over all, and that’s all we’re expecting for now.
