Our time is about up and we’ll be headed for home in the morning. We are going to spend the night in Atoka so that we might be able to spoil the twins a little bit before we really head for home. It’s been a good visit…even with the Sunday afternoon excitement…and the folks continue to do well for OLD folks! I’m so thankful they are here at University Place as everyone is so sweet to them and they have made several new friends that they enjoy being with.
We did a little shoe shopping yesterday and mom got herself two new pairs of shoes…she’s currently wearing one pair and keeps commenting about how comfortable they are so that was a successful trip. We’re still looking for some in white and hope to do that later today.
The wind continues to blow here in Abilene but it’s warm…going to set a record high today (93 +)…so I’m finally warm again. I think it’s going to be OK back in Wilmore when we get home but with storms. Oh well, the rain will end and the drought will begin before long.
Mom will be going to the GI doctor this afternoon and we’ll see if he thinks the esophagus is her problem. She’s had no meat or bread since Sunday so we’re hoping she’ll be able to eat normally after today.
No news just touching base with all that read this “granny’s” blog. Pray for my folks to remain well and for our safe travels. I’ll be back in a few days…
Blessings…..
