The boxes are becoming less and less but I’m not sure some are not multiplying while we sleep at night. No matter how many get emptied each day, there’s always more to unload…and that’s just in the house. The garage/barn…well, that’s another story. We have a big yard sale pile in one section, plus a pile to be saved for who knows what, and then another pile that’s yet to be opened. Yikes this will never end!
The house is looking good, although there’s still a lot we want to do to it, it is very livable. I’m sure some of the jobs won’t get done until spring, or later. We’re wearing out because moving isn’t for old people and I admit WE”RE OLD!!!Â
The weather has turned cool and for that we are thankful. Being in the 90’s in October just isn’t right. Our high today is only 58 but it will warm back up into the 70’s next week and that’s near perfect.
George has worked setting up his office for the last couple of days and that’s been quite a job. We both have lots of books we aren’t ready to part with and he’s got lots of wires that all connect to something. He’s still trying to figure out which ones belong to whatever do-dad! That’s certainly out of my realm so I just let him alone. It’s kind of like me with my yarn when I get it all tangled up. It will eventually all work out if you remain patient long enough.
I chatted with Sean today and he’s still confined to his base doing whatever the Army tells him to do…they won’t let the troops out until they feel confident all will be OK for them. He’s not in danger, so he says, but you never know who’s lurking around the corner that may just want to shoot you because you represent the USA. He’s doing well and will get busier starting this next week. He’s still in the medical field so I know there will always be someone to help and lots to do while the war continues.
Got to get busy…these jobs don’t go away with me on the computer. Enjoy the fall weather because winter is just around the corner and that means….FLORIDA HERE WE COME! We’ll be there all January and February and I know we will be ready for the two months of “do nothing’s” after this move.
Blessings……
