Palm Sunday…

We had an absolutely amazing time of worship this morning.   Since this is palm Sunday, the children marched around the auditorium waving their palm branches while we all sang a song about Hosanna .  The kids were so adorable and what a good way to have the story come to life for them, and us.  Also, the adult choir…of which I am one of the alto’s…sang a beautiful song called “Cornerstone” and it was a very meaningful and beautiful song.  You can find it on ITunes if you want to hear it.  George recorded it on his phone and I think he’ll be posting it later.  Bringing Jesus to the world is my goal and what a grand way to do it through song and vivid applications.  Thank you Jesus for the gift of music and the joy of expression!

We have sunshine today even though it’s only in the 50’s.  It sure beats what we had yesterday…rain off and on along with bitter cold temperatures  and a bone chillin’ wind…and we went to two ballgames.  I sat in the van to watch Blake’s game but we got rained out for Grayson’s in the top of the 3rd inning.  I was headed to the van when the game was called.  I admit it…I’M A FAIR WEATHER FAN even with the grandkids.

We have our small group tonight so guess I’ll go see what I can round up to contribute to the food table.  We are thankful that Jim did well with his heart procedure, is now resting at home…or he’s suppose to be resting…and will be able to get back to the classroom this week.  Prayers were definitely answered!  Love to each of you.

Blessings……
