We are once more getting a lot of rain…of which we don’t really need right now…and flooding will be a problem for many people. I wish we could have saved some of these rainy days for July / August because we won’t get much those months. With all the rain, the kids are having a difficult time getting in all their ballgames. I would guess there will be a lot of double headers if they get them all played. Oh well, nothing we can do about it so no need to complain.
Saturday we will be running over to Louisville for our usual Derby Party. It’s always fun seeing old friends, but the longer we’re away the more distance it becomes within some of those relationships. Some friends are the same but for many there’s just not much to talk about any more. That’s kind of sad…but that’s life.
We have guest coming to the “blue house” so this will be cleaning day over there. We have been blessed with a lot of renters for now and we hope it will continue for some time. Yes, it’s work…but we do enjoy it and are thankful for this opportunity to touch the lives of others. God has blessed us, and continues to bless us, with this outreach.
