We thought back in early spring the rain would never stop. Well, it did, and it has become very dry so we are very thankful for the rain we are receiving currently. It’s quite cool, also, as it’s only in the high 50’s for now.
I know all the folks…approximately 20,000…that have come, or will be coming to Wilmore for the Ichthus Christian concert are not so happy to have the rain and cool weather, but this will pass tomorrow but is to return on Friday/Saturday. Since most folks coming to the concert camp out in tents, it makes for a muddy start to a four day event. This concert is lots of fun and a big boost to our economy with many of the well known artist performing on 7 different stages. We’ll be going on Saturday but we can usually hear it from our front porch…just can’t see anyone from the porch. We have guest at the “blue house” for this concert and could have rented it many times over. The people that got the house rented it back in December…pays to plan ahead.
