May all the many trick or treaters find lots of goodies at your door tonight! Make that CHOCOLATE if you want to become a favorite. We’re looking forward to the BIG Wilmore gathering downtown and seeing all the activities planned for everyone. Should be lots of fun and the weather is near perfect for being outdoors.Â
Our dinner party last night went very well and we enjoyed having everyone here. Barrett and Karen were very nice and it was good getting to know them and their children a little better. We met Karen many years ago, she was just a child, when she and her family would come to Louisville to visit some people we went to church with. That had to be over 30 years ago but we do remember her. Funny how your paths cross with people throughout the years. Of course, it’s always good having the Crockett’s and Meredith’s friend for dinner.
Today is somewhat calmer but I do need to figure out what I should take to Texas. The weather is so iffy this time of the year. We won’t be there many days, so it won’t be a big problem.
Got to go get my 4 mile walk in or it won’t get done. I can always find an excuse not to do it but I always feel guilty when I don’t. Have a wonderful rest-of-the-week and I’ll be back once we’re home from Texas.
