Can it possible be 27 years ago today that we became grandparents for the first time? What a joy to have a grandson named Sean Boyd Ezell…Clark and Vanessa’s oldest son. Sean is currently in the Army but may return to civilian life when this term is up and go back to college. I really don’t know what his future plans are but I do know I’m wishing him a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY and may all his wishes come true.
It continues to be HOT in the bluegrass state but I know this to shall end. Every time I think about how hot it is here, I think of the poor folks in Texas and the heat and drought they’ve had ALL summer, and I feel better. We experienced one of our worst winters this past winter, and now we’re going through one of our hottest summers. God remains in control and I will rejoice in that fact.
We went to Cincinnati yesterday for the hottest ever game…there was over 25,000 + people there so we weren’t alone…just to watch the Reds come up short once more. They seem to have a hard time coming out on top but it was still fun and I’m always glad we went. It was senior day and I even saw a lady in a wheelchair, on oxygen, cheering for the Reds. After all, it was only 95 with a heat index of over 100! A true Reds fan!!!
Stay cool everyone, and let’s all sing “Happy Birthday to Sean”.
Blessings….
