George and I…mostly George…have started another project on our home. We are currently redoing the small room off of his office which means all books, along with lots of stuff, taken out…more shelving installed…walls and trim painted…next we will get some guys to help us put the treadmill in this small room…replace all books we decide to keep…get rid of any unnecessary “stuff” and books which means another trip to Goodwill. The next project once this is completed is to redo the laundry room and make it into a MUD room with a full bath. This will be a real plus to our place since we currently only have the one bath. Once that is finished and we’re still able to function and speak to one another, we are going to reconfigure our current bathroom and make it open into our guest room…will require removing two doors that both open into the kitchen, install dry wall to replace door openings, and moving the sink to the opposite wall. This can now be a master bedroom with a private bathroom or we’ll leave it as a guest room with a private bath. I like to dream that this will all be finished by the time we go to Florida the latter part of December, but we’ll see how it goes. George is quite the handy man and I’m full of suggestions, which are not always appreciated. Regardless, if we can live through doing the “blue house” we can certainly live through these projects. I’ll post more on these as we complete them.
We made a quick trip to Louisville yesterday to attend a wedding for our friend’s son and that was fun. All the Gabehart’s were going in six different directions so we didn’t get to see them, but we’ll be seeing them in a couple of weeks when we go back to catch our flight to New Mexico. Another good reason to go to Louisville…we got to eat at one of my favorite restaurants there which now has a gluten free menu. We chose to not eat at the reception and my meal at the Bristol was delicious as ever. YUM! YUM!
I must get off here and finish getting ready for church. Have a fantastic Lord’s day and count your blessings. My, but we have so many. Love to all.
Blessings….
