George has been tearing out and has managed to make some headway towards getting the laundry room ready to start creating a bathroom in there. He’s having to replace some of the floor boards due to age of the boards and the appearance of some sort of fire at some point in time, he’s also reinforced some of the floor boards that are load bearing, bought some material…I’m sure not all since he didn’t bring home much…and has turned my laundry room in to a real MESS. I think I’ll be doing my laundry at the “blue house” after our guest leave tomorrow. I know you have to go through the MESS in order to create something new, but …
A beautiful day today and for that I’m thankful. In fact the AC is off and the fresh breeze is coming in through the windows and that puts a smile on my face. Love being able to NOT use the AC.
Yesterday Lawrence and Linda…my oldest brother and his sweet wife…celebrated their 50th anniversary and it sure doesn’t seem like that many years have gone by. Wait a minute…we’ll be at 50 come next June. YIKES!!! Regardless…Happy Anniversary, again, and may you continue to be blessed with much happiness and good health.
We’re also thankful that Victoria (Tori), our niece, came through her knee surgery just fine and is now back in class for her second year of law school. She began her PT today and that should have her off those crutches soon and back to going full speed.
No more news…so guess I’ll get off here. Have a great weekend and let’s all pray for the people that are, or will be, affected by the hurricane. It sounds as though it’s going to be bad. I do wish we could get some of the rain, without all the wind, here in KY and especially in TX. Mom told me yesterday that they have had 70 + days of being over 100* and it’s still August…normal it’s only 30 + for the year. Oh well, let’s just continue to pray ’cause God knows what we need and when. Love to you all.
