Here it is Sunday morning already. My, but the days seem to just fly by…could this be a sign of my age?
I got home from Louisville on Wednesday night of this past week and it was so good to be back home and sleep in my own bed with my sweet husband. Tyler didn’t come back with me ’cause his parents wanted him home for a few more days so they could watch over his recovery…just in case they needed to see a doctor, etc. He will come here either tonight or tomorrow if all goes as planned.  He continues to do well, still having some pain issues, but he’s an 11 year old boy that can’t just be still for long periods of time. He’ll be out of school all this week and then go back on the next week. He’s keeping up with his homework via the e-mails from his teachers so he shouldn’t be behind when he does go back. He’s a good student, but homework while in pain has not been his cup of tea! Hang on Tyler, this will soon be over.
We were blessed to have Clark and Vanessa for a very quick visit last night. They had to make a trip to Louisville to pick up Branden’s car…which, by the way, has some rather extensive body damage on the left side due to him opening his door into traffic before looking. Clark will have it repaired for him while he’s on tour with the band he’s working with if it doesn’t cost too much. It was good seeing them and in just 10 days we’re going to see them again in WI. We already had our plans to visit them in their home before they came here and we’re looking forward to seeing the sights in Racine. I pray your trip home will be a good one, even though it’s 9 + hours and pulling a trailer with a banged up car on it. You’re a good dad, Clark!
Fall is definitely in the air and it’s wonderful. The nights are cool and the days are perfect! I love having the windows and doors open to the fresh air!  Won’t be long until winter but for now we’ll enjoy our time on the porch!
The new bath is coming along nicely. The plumber should finish up his part either tomorrow or Tuesday and then George will finish it up. We’re hoping to have it completed by Thanksgiving so we have a ways to go. It’s small but it’s going to be very nice having that second bath. We still hope to reconfigure the doors to make the existing bath come directly off the guest bedroom but not sure when all that will take place.
Guess I need to finish getting myself ready for church. Have a great day and praise God for your beautiful life. Love ya!
Blessings….
