It is so COLD in KY! I’m thankful we have escaped any snow but it has gotten really cold with relatively high winds. The beaches of Florida are not far off so I think I’ll make it.
Tanya and I went out today to do some Christmas shopping for her children and also for Blake’s birthday. I have four gifts to buy but I think three of those will end up being gift cards and Melissa is going to get the other one for me. Therefore, I’m done! We have our family Christmas on the 15th…Blake’s 8th birthday…and all the kids will be here except for Clark’s family. Branden is coming but he’s the only one…Sean is out of the country and Clark’s work schedule prevents them from coming. We’ll miss them because this is always a really fun time…lots of food, gifts, music, and nonsense! I love family!
I mentioned some time back that we would be getting a condo in Florida this year but all of that has changed. The condo owner thinks he has a buyer for it and wasn’t sure it would still be available, so he cancelled our contract.  George then called the guy we usually rent from to see if he was still “UN-RETIRED” and he is and has again rented his home to us. That’s great for us since we are familiar with that area and his home is very comfortable. We will again be in Port Charlotte and not Venice.  We will be there for all of January and February and he said we could have March if we wanted to stay that long. We’ll see about any of March…depends what the weather is like in KY during that time. I really believe two months will be long enough.
Not much going on for the rest of this week and for that I am thankful. We seem to stay really busy but that’s better than being bored, I guess.
Have a good night, stay warm, and say something nice to someone you care about.
Blessings……
