Well it has decided to get cold…only 28 degrees currently…with a heavy fog, and it’s not even Halloween yet. We will be headed to Florida in just 51 days, thankfully, but for now it’s COLD OUTSIDE!!!
Most years our children get to trick-or-treat without a coat, but that won’t be the case this year. Let’s just hope it doesn’t rain on Monday evening because Wilmore has a really nice event for the kids, and adults, that’s attended by nearly everyone in our area…safe, friendly place for the kids vs. going door to door for their treats. Some areas of Kentucky had a light snow yesterday but we only had rain thankfully. Regardless, the kids will trick or treat on Monday with their costumes covered up by a heavy coat…will still be fun!
This week has flown by and I can’t really say I accomplished a lot. I did get to do lots of laundry…WE cleaned the “blue house” twice along with having to change all the sheets and towels creating several large loads of laundry plus our own laundry (glad laundry has never been a big deal to me)…, cleaned out a closet that once again amazed me as to why I’ve kept all that stuff for four years and NEVER used any of it once…headed to Goodwill tomorrow…, and piddled the days away, even finding a little time to knit on most days. George continues to chip away at all the things on his “to do list” for our mud room and it’s looking so good. He’s quite the craftsman. The good things is, we’ll get to repeat all this again this next week…means we have guest!!! better known as RENTERS.
I have nothing worth writing about so guess I’ll head to the mud room to do some more laundry, chase out some dust bunnies throughout the house, and squash any little spiders I might come across. Have a great weekend and enjoy each day. Love to all.
