We had an enjoyable evening last night with about five seminary couples…along with their small children…to celebrate their completion of another semester of classes, to wish them a Merry Christmas, and a “see ya in February” good bye. They are all going into various areas for permanent mission work once they complete their desired degrees. They are all godly people and truly love the Lord.
George’s foot has not gotten better…in fact, it got worse…so he’s now in a hard cast and can put NO weight on that foot for three months…yes I said THREE months. We would like to forgo our trip to Florida but we’d loose all the money we’ve put down so we’ll trudge forward come Monday morning…or one day soon. Trips to the beach and fishing will be on a very limited basis, but we’ll have fun regardless. At least it will be warmer!
