Another rainy day in the Bluegrass state and I do believe we are going to set the new record for being the wettest year ever. Rain is so much better than snow…not as pretty but that’s OK…and we are stock piling for next summer, I guess. I do miss the sunshine as the gloom gets rather depressing. Maybe later this week we’ll see the sun again…at least one can hope to see the sun again.
Not much happening around here and I’m thankful for that. We did have a great time over the holiday season but it is good to get back to whatever normal is suppose to be. George continues to heal and has been virtually pain free throughout this entire ordeal. He goes back to the doctor on January 4th for the stitches to come out…I could do it since I’ve had lots of experience over the years…and I think they will x-ray again to make sure the bone is fusing well. He has at least three more weeks of no weight on that foot so we’re 1/4 of the way there!
No news so I’ll get busy doing some of my “Susie homemaker” stuff. Have a good day and enjoy the rest of 2011!
