What a wonderful day it is today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN!!!
We had a great weekend with the kids and enjoyed celebrating Ryan’s birthday. We took the kids on Saturday to see the movie “Alvin and the Chipmunks” and it’s definitely a kids movie. They seemed to have enjoyed it so it was worth the two hours. Afterwards, we went to a pizza place for dinner. Once we got back to the house we played “Chicken Foot” and that was a lot of fun for about four rounds and then they got bored. It was a full afternoon and we were all tired by bedtime…a good part of any day!
Sunday we went to church, then MC Donald’s for lunch, and then we came home and began preparing for the birthday dinner. Tanya and Daniel took all eight kids home with them…THANK YOU! Melissa and Byron got here about four and we enjoyed a few minutes of visiting with them before we had dinner. Ryan picked the menu so it was his favorite stuff…shrimp Alfredo and/or marina sauce, tossed salad, steamed broccoli, French bread, and then birthday dessert (eclair pie). It was all very good and the kids ate really well. He got money and a shirt from us, a book from the Crockett’s, and a cell-phone from his family. He was thrilled with each one…it’s so much fun having a birthday when you’re 13!
Today I should be getting some stuff together for Florida, but I haven’t started yet. I will before the day is over, hopefully. We’ll be going to the Crockett’s for Christmas Eve dinner and I know that will be good. Tanya is a fabulous cook!
Have a very Merry Christmas everyone. Again HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN!
Blessings……..
