We made it back home this afternoon after two full days of enjoying the twins…Turner and Neyland…along with Scott and Allison. The boys have grown so much, they are learning to talk and the favorite word is “NO” even though they don’t always mean no…just a word they have heard a lot and easy to say…,they can definitely make their wants and wishes known, they are exceptionally good boys, and are cuter than ever. Two is going to be such a fun time for Scott and Allison and I’m just sorry we’ll miss most of it! The birthday party included all of Allison’s family, and us, (14 present) and it was a very pleasant time of celebration. The food was great, the boys got LOTS of cute stuff, and it was so hard to know just what to play with first. We loved our time together and cherish each memory made.
We had a beautiful sunny day today, so it made our travels pleasant and uneventful. Part of Kentucky had a serious snow storm over the weekend…our area was suppose to have gotten a bunch of snow, but we were spared once more…THANK GOODNESS!!! We saw spring flowers in bloom on some stretches of the interstate even though they shouldn’t be blooming for a few more weeks. We have NOT had much winter, other than some cold, and I’m so glad. Snow is beautiful…in the movies…and since I’ve seen it many times, I don’t care to see it ever again! Come on spring!!! We are anxiously awaiting your arrival.
Have a good week and may we all do acts of kindness every day. Love to all.
Blessings….
