Tuesday’s been another near perfect day!

Once that cold snap got out of Pt. Charlotte, it’s been near perfect days.  It was around 85 today and I can honestly say I LOVE IT.  I walked this morning and then after I cooled off I laid out on the boat dock for about an hour.  I saw some beautiful wild life including a pelican that landed in the water right across from our dock.  That’s the first one I’ve seen from here.  Of course, we have many turkey buzzards that fly overhead…makes me nervous that they might think I’m dead and something to eat while I’m out working on my  tan…and we have lots of other birds that fly overhead.  Should those buzzards get close, they will most definitely know I AM NOT DEAD.  The screams may even bring the neighbors out!  Today there was some kind of fish jumping out of the water, but all I ever saw was the splash.  We haven’t seen the manatees since our first day here but I feel sure they will return.  I’m certain they aren’t the ones splashing out there.  They make no noise except when they blow out their breath and take in another one before they slide back down to where ever it is they go.

Glad to see LSU win the ball game last night, but it really made no difference since I’m not a big fan of either.  If it’s not UK or UofL..and UofL is my first preference,  I really don’t have much loyalty to them.  I do like others, but they are in the “it really doesn’t matter” categories.

Not much happening around here and for that I am thankful.  I was sorry to learn of several  friends from Louisville that were either having surgery or loss a loved one recently.  There’s a lot of ups and downs in life but one things that is always consistent is God’s love and care.

Enjoy the evening.

Blessings…….
