Happy 93rd birthday to my sweet Mother, Ruby Mae Watson. May your special day be one of good health, joy, and pampering. I know you got to celebrate with Linda and Jim yesterday, but know that today you will be celebrated from Kentucky. My prayer for you today is that this will be another good year of life, more happy memories will be made, and you’ll always feel loved and appreciated.
Our friends, Mark and Leslie Awabdy, had a good celebration of Mark’s receiving his Ph.D with many of their friends in our back yard last night. It was the perfect evening for being outside and our yard was a great place for all the kids to play, etc. As we looked around and saw all the different people present, we were reminded of how many different countries are going to be influenced by these young people…most are going into the mission fields. God has blessed them with a desire to go and tell the good news and they are answering that call. May they all be blessed, kept safe, and feel the love of all.
Linda and Jim are headed back home today after visiting with Mom and Dad for the last few days. It was a quick trip but enjoyed by all…hopefully. Vanessa continues to heal and has quite the incision on her neck, but we’re thankful the cancer is gone. As for the rest of the family…all is well as far as I know.
