Today our country will celebrate our Independence while enjoying lots of burgers, fireworks, and parades. In fact, we will be headed to town in a little bit to watch the Wilmore parade…the highlight of the parade being the guys performing with their lawn mowers. Actually, it’s really rather weak, but they think they’re good and they sure seem to be having fun. It’s going to be another hot day and still no rain for us. Rain comes close but nothing for Wilmore! In fact, fireworks have been banned because of the dangers of fire but we still hear them going off at night. I fully expect we’re going to loose some of our plants, and maybe some of our trees. Lord, please send us some rain!
Not much going on around here…to hot to do much…but we remain healthy and happy and for that I’m thankful. Have a good day, stay cool, and be thankful for our freedom that we all seem to take for granted…especially the freedom we have in Christ!
Lorin, you be safe on your “dream” trip and take lots of pictures so we can enjoy what you experienced.  Linda Lou you continue to get better and don’t go stir crazy these next three months while on the knee walker. Vanessa has improved to where she’s almost back to being herself. Kyle got his drivers permit so he’s one happy 16 year old! Guess all others are good as we haven’t heard anything different.
