It is so much fun being a grandmother…we have bragging rights and we love to tell about them. I don’t know about all my grandchildren but here goes on the ones I do know about…The Crockett’s had one successful basketball team emerge today and one that tried really hard…congratulations Jerod and Meredith and better luck next time Blake and Grayson. Ryan had a quick recall match today and his team came in FIRST and will now go to the regional level. He was second on the personal math event.  I think he didn’t even know he would be in the math event until he got there. Good job Ryan and hope your team wins the next level. Chase and Chance are both busy getting ready for baseball and I wish them well again this season. Not sure what Lacey or Branden are doing but I’m sure they are both busy with school work. Of course, the army keeps Sean on his toes. Madi and Tyler are just busy being Madi and Tyler and keeping their mother on her toes!Â
George has agreed to teach our Sunday School class at Central starting tomorrow and then all of February. He is an excellent teacher and I know they will all benefit from having him here. The regular teacher just needs a break…lots going on at the church and since he’s one of the elders, he’s worn out.Â
Not much happening again today…another beautiful day with lots of sunshine. We were going to the St. Armands art fair today up in Sarasota, but once George and Ron got through eating lunch and talking, it was to late to go. We will do that tomorrow and I hope the rain that’s predicted will hold off until it’s over. It was suppose to rain this afternoon, but so far nothing! This art fair is the real McCoy…very pricey but fun to look at.
Talk again soon and I have another cute saying to share from my book titled “Daily Splashes of Joy” by Barbara Johnson…”Light travels faster than sound This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak”. Think about this the next time you speak out!
Blessings…….
