Our friends, Ron and Jean Like, came in last evening and it was so good having them here with us. They left our place before noon today and headed up to Venice to their condo…about 30 +/- miles from us. We will definitely get with them several times during this month.
We met Roy and Doris Turner…our former next door neighbors but always friends…for lunch today as they are headed to Naples for the next two months. They were really looking forward to getting back on the golf courses! Have a great time guys and I hope you both get your hole in one this year!
Once we got back to the house we finally got around to exercising. It’s definitely harder on me later in the day…George is still out there somewhere on his bike. He rides about 24 miles so it takes a while. I’m always concerned about him with all the traffic but he loves doing it and it’s good exercise. He would love for me to get a bike but I have ZERO interest in doing so because of traffic and the fact I might crash! Therefore, I’ll keep walking my miles and try to keep a good attitude about having to do it. I just wish there was some magic pill I could take to make me stay in shape, etc. without the exercising. George just came it and said he had a great ride so guess he did OK.
