Fun at the beach…

Oh the fun of the sand, sunshine, and salt water with two of our precious grandsons…Turner and Neyland.   Oh ya…Scott and Allison are here, too.  We couldn’t have selected a more perfect time to be in Gulf Shores, Al.  On our way down to the gulf, we got to enjoy dinner and a nice visit with George’s brother, Chipper, and his cousin Jerry and Jerry’s fiancé Margaret.  They are all doing well and we were thankful they had time to come to Athens Friday night.  Margie was with her mom since her dad had cancer surgery that day and we pray for his recovery.

We have had some really good shrimp dinners since we got here…one at a restaurant and the other made by Scott – shrimp tacos.  Food taste so much better when on vacation and fixed by others .

The boys loved there time on the beach yesterday…their first.  The water (waves) were a little scary at first but that fear was soon conquered   Sand is always fun but a good lesson was learned…don’t toss  sand in the air when the wind is in your face.  Also, never wipe your mouth with a sandy hand.  We’ll see if they remember all this when we head back over a little later today.  They enjoyed everything about the beach as did their Mimi!

Guess that’s about all.  The Crocketts are enjoying Disney World this week…Sugar is with us but can’t go to the beach since no animals are allowed…while the other family members are trying to stay warm or getting ready to move.  So glad I’m at the beach…thank you Scott and Allison.   Love to all.

blessings……
