Today is Tyler’s special birthday and he couldn’t be more excited. I hope he has a good day, gets lots of goodies, and a special dinner from Mama…so sorry we are missing it again this year.
We had a nice visit with Teresa, my niece, today along with her daughter Scarlett. Scarlett is two and so much fun to watch. She was impressed with the Manatees and the “BIG” fish George caught…check his blog for photos. We will see the entire family sometime this weekend and know that will be fun.  Teresa’s family consist of a really nice husband, Richard, and three more children, Hannah, Cooper, and Mason. We may just meet at a restaurant on the beach so the kids will have something to do besides be bored listening to all of us talk.
The folks are taking us out to dinner tonight for my birthday tomorrow. George has invited some friends in for dinner tomorrow so I’m having a birthday party…now let’s see, I think I must be 39 again this year! I know I’m old, but I sure don’t feel old unless I move! Honestly, I can’t believe I’m as old as I am and I really do feel great. I guess there is something to all this walking!
I feel so sad for all the people who lost their lives and homes during these tornado’s. My brother-in-law, Jim, had a brother that lives in Jackson and their home was quite damaged. The windows were blown out, the garage door buckled so you couldn’t open it, the roof ripped so water was getting into the house, plus other damages that I can’t recall. We are just thankful their lives were spared and all this will be repaired or replaced. The pictures remind me of some of the devastation we’ve seen in New Orleans. You get such a hopeless feeling and it’s hard to even know where to start when everything is damaged or gone. Life is never the same but you will learn to go on.
Have a good day and again a VERY SPECIAL BIRTHDAY WISH FOR TYLER.Â
Blessings……
