Our weekend was busy and many miles driven, but what a fun time we had. We left Wilmore early Saturday morning and headed for the Birmingham area to attend the wedding of Curtis and Meagan Leslie…Lori’s son…and it was very nice. The location of the wedding was in Cleveland, AL and it was spectacular! A beautiful home has been turned into an event place and it was fabulous place to enjoy most any event…I’d love a big home like that…until time to clean it…and George would love the two lakes on either side of it to get in some daily fishing. Of course, the built in pool would be a good way to get the kids to come visit. Oh well, not going to happen but it was beautiful. Congratulations to the newly weds and may they have a life of happiness!
We got to spend some time with Carter and Lori, along with Lori’s mom and dad…they are really nice people and ones we would enjoy getting to know better but South Dakota is a far piece from Wiilmore!  We enjoyed our stay at our Nashville B&B…better known as Linda and Jim’s home…and they are such a blessing. After church, we met up with Carter, Lori, Butch, Jean, and Chase for a brunch at a neat LITTLE restaurant called The Perch and the food was delicious. I’d eat there again and order the same thing…it was that good. From there we headed for home. Traffic was very HEAVY and I can’t wait to see how much heavier it will be on Wednesday as we head for Clark and Vanessa’s. Wednesday is the heaviest travel day of all days! Yikes! We’ll do our best to stay safe but would appreciate all reading this to say a prayer for our safety on that day…actually for any day!
