Bottom Fishing

We had a really fun time bottom fishing yesterday (Wednesday) but the fish were the winners.  We…Bob/Carla, Ron/Jean, Us…all caught some but we had no keepers.  We started at 8:30 a.m. and didn’t get back to the dock until almost 4 p.m. so we had plenty of time to catch some.  After we got back to the dock, Bob/Carla invited us all to their place for dinner…Mexican mess and strawberry shortcakes.  It was delicious!  Fish or no fish, memories were made and I’m really glad we went.  George will probably post some pictures on his blog at some point and time.

We don’t plan on doing much today but we will be going to the beach tomorrow since we will be going over to Venice.  The book store where I bought one of my books…”Norahs Children” by Ann O’Farrell…is closing at the end of this month.  However, they are having a book signing tomorrow, by the above mentioned author, which is a continuation to the story I just mentioned…titled “Michael”…so Venice here we come…it’s only 30 +/- minutes from here and the beach is right there!  I would recommend these books to all of you that enjoy reading for pleasure!

Hope all of you saw the eclipse last night…that’s quite an amazing sight.  God continues to show himself and we only need to sit back and “Be still” to see Him in action.

Have a good one.  Only a few days of sunshine left before we head for KY.  Seeing that an ice storm is headed that way later today sure doesn’t make my heart excited about going back.  I miss all the kids/grandkids but I have yet to miss being in that winter weather.

Blessings…..
