The life of a convalescent is certainly boring! Â I am getting out some…we went to a movie and lunch yesterday…church on Sunday and then dinner at a friends house Sunday evening…then today visited with a lady about what it was like to take in foster children. Â I am still using the ice packs each day along with an occasional pain pill, but I have finally been able to sleep in our bed as of this past Saturday night. Â It is hard to get really comfortable in bed due to the gravity pull on my shoulder, but I am determined and it is getting better. Â I should be able to get rid of my sling when I go back to the doctor on the 30th and will then start my physical therapy…heard this is difficult but I will master this, too. Â I’m almost 1/3 through with all of this and will get through the last 2/3 if it kills me. Â I can’t wait to get back to knitting & crocheting as I have several things already selected to make. Â I am woman…listen to me roar! Â Or cry, whatever the moment calls for.
it is sunny but so bitter cold here and I really look forward to spring returning.  In fact, the crocus are so confused and have already broken ground due to  the warmer days a week or so ago.
I am extremely happy for Lori and her new job. Â I don’t know anything about it except she will start on February 1 and I pray it will be the perfect job for her. Â She is currently visiting her family and I feel sure she’s loving being with them.
Mom and dad continue to do well and for that I am extremely thankful. Â God continues to bless them so they are doing well on most days. Â Aging has it problems, but they are able to overcome most of the ones that pop up for them each day.
Ryan has started working part time at Valvoline and that will take care of any free time he once enjoyed…plus put some $$$ in his pocket and college fund! Â Good luck Ryan!
Guess that’s about it for now. Â Stay warm and know you are loved!
Blessings…….
