Our last night!

All good things must eventually come to an end, and our time in Florida is drawing to an end.  We will be leaving Pt. Charlotte in the morning and should arrive in Wilmore sometime Saturday afternoon.  We have had a wonderful two months with lots of quiet time, many miles walked due to daily…well, almost daily…exercise, read lots of good books, took in several movies, spent many hours reflecting about various spiritual thoughts, and had lots of fun time with my best friend.

We also spent several different evenings with new friends from the Central church…thanks to all for your many kind words and encouragement…, a couple of dinners with David and Sofia Page, several fun times with Ron and Jean Like from Kansas,…George’s real fishing buddy…and Bob and Carla of Louisville.  It has been a blessing to be given a daily dose of sunshine, watch the manatees play by our boat dock in the canal, catch a few fish off the boat dock even though I never got around to buying a license…catch and release so I didn’t hurt any of them but some did end up with a sore lip…, enjoyed the beach along with all the sounds and smells that go with being there, watched the beautiful sunsets, and enjoyed all the many birds that go with this part of our country.

Hopefully, we will be able to come back again next year, but we’ll just have to wait and see what God has planned for us.  It has been fun but now we must get back to reality and the real world.  We have many projects we want to do on our house, get the yard ready for the spring flowers, etc. and get to know the people in our community…so we will have plenty to do when we get back.

Pray for our safety as we travel and I’ll be back once we get home.  May God continue to bless you with good health, plenty of sunshine, and many friends.

Blessings……
