Middle of March….

Here it is the middle of March and we are blessed this morning with sunshine and a balmy 21 degrees!  Now I know it’s not quite spring time yet but can’t we, please, get to our normal range and stop all this snow and cold?  I am so ready for all this cold to go away.  Yesterday we even had another dusting of snow but not enough to cancel school, which is a good thing.  Some of our spring flowers are blooming but they aren’t as pretty as they could be if we’d get some warmer days.

Nothing much happening around here currently.  I continue to go to physical therapy twice a week and happy to say that improvement is happening.  I’m still achy at times, and even experiencing pain occasionally, but it’s so much better than it was.  I will sure be thankful when all of this is finally over with and I can go about my life with zero thoughts about the shoulder…just a couple more months.  George continues to be a big help with things I can’t do and what a blessing that is!  He’s also able to get out in his workshop a little and that’s a welcome thing for him.  He loves making bowls, pens, etc. and has gotten really good at it.  Of course, we continue to keep the “blue house” going and spring is going to be a rather busy time for us there…another really good thing!  We are meeting some very nice people through this avenue and what a joy that continues to be for us.  The family coming in today are some of our regulars…this is their 6th or 7th time to come…one more time and that will be their last since their son will be graduating from the seminary.  We will miss having them, for sure.

Guess that’s about all about our boring life.  All the family members seem to be doing well except for Vanessa who’s having a lot of pain currently.  The doctors should be able to tell her something today as to what’s going on.   Please keep her in your prayers!

Several of  the grandsons…Kyle, Tyler, Blake, Grayson…are busy with baseball,  while Madi is busy with track and volleyball and loves both sports…Meredith is working with the middle school track team along with getting ready for their spring dance performance…Chance is finishing up at WKU and so looking forward to graduation…Ryan is also ready to graduate from high school and looking forward to going to UofL…all the other grand children are doing OK as far as I know.

I need to get myself presentable, do some “suzy homemaker” stuff before I get out and do some shopping…got to buy some baby gifts along with a wedding shower gift.  Have a great week and love to all.

Come on SPRING  I know you can burst forth any day now!!!!

Blessings……….
