Here it is March 24th and it is really a yucky day!  Only 38 degrees, with rain, gloomy skies, and no sunshine in sight. If fact, there’s no sunshine expected for the better part of this week. So far we don’t have any snow but we may be getting some tonight and tomorrow but I’m hoping that’s just a false rumor. Oh well, today is a gift from God, so I won’t be totally gloom and doom about the yucky weather! Come on spring … we are ALL ready for you to jump on board and let’s get some warmer days!
We do rejoice that today is Lacey’s 22nd birthday. Therefore, today really is a special day. Lacey is our first grand daughter, Clark & Vanessa’s only daughter and #3 child, a paramedic working in Louisville, and loving her job and being back “home” in the ‘ville. Happy birthday, Lacey! We are proud of your accomplishments and you are loved.
There’s really not much going on around here but we seem to stay busy most days. I am ALMOST done with my PT rehab and it has really helped to get the mobility back…still having some pain, at times, but it’s so much better…and I am so thankful for that. I am scheduled for three more sessions with my therapist and then I’m on my own. I’m still being told I will have some discomfort for another 6 + months, but the worse is definitely behind me. I’m doing the happy dance to that! This has been an ordeal but I survived and I’m so thankful that George was so good to me during these many months…even when I was grumpy! A better man is no where around!
Grayson was in the Governor’s Cup Academic event yesterday and his team came in fourth in their region. He was the captain of the Wilmore Elementary School quick recall team and they all did well…really tough competition this year. Grayson will definitely be missed next year as he’s one of the quickest / smartest players. Maybe he’ll be on the middle school team next year? Congratulation, Grayson, and I am so proud of you!
No more news so I’ll get back to doing the laundry…had guest leave the “blue house” today with more coming in this evening. Have a great week…let’s all thing SPRING…and pray for each other. Love to all.
