Our day began with rain, gloomy skies, and fog. But after a good time of worship, a BIG lunch with friends (50+ people), the sun came out just in time for the Easter egg hunt. The host family had filled 650 eggs with either candy or money and then all the daddy’s had the privilege of hiding all 650 eggs…which took longer than the hunt but was a fun time for all…even with a little mud! The little kids had a totally different area to find their eggs so the big kids wouldn’t run over them. The grand prize for the most eggs found came with a $20 prize. We left while the kids were still emptying their eggs so we don’t know who the grand prize winner was. A very fun afternoon. Now we’re enjoying the UofL / Duke game so let’s all shout…GO CARDS!!!
We had more guest leave the “blue house” today and more coming in on Wednesday. This entire month is almost booked solid so we are so blessed and thankful…and will be busy cleaning and washing laundry but that’s OK as we are enjoying our “JOB”.
We will be going to Cincinnati on Wednesday to see the opening night Red’s ballgame with the Crockett’s and we are so looking forward to that. Thursday George and I will head to Louisville to do some stuff and will be bringing Tyler and Madi home with us since they are on spring break this week. It’ll be a busy week but it should be a fun week.
Have a great week and we are still thinking “S{RING” around here, but we are told another cold front is headed our way…bummer!!! Oh well, God knows just what we need and when we need it so I will continue to be patient … while saying hurry up spring. We did manage to get into the mid-50’s today and pray by next week we’ll see some 60’s or more. Happy Easter and love to all.
Blessings………
