PT is finished…

I am happy to say that I have completed my physical therapy but will have to continue to do my exercises for the next three months.  My therapist, Matt Lee, really helped me get the mobility and strength back and there’s just one area that is still rather weak…in my back right shoulder blade area.  I go to my surgeon tomorrow and hope that will end my visits with him.  So  all is looking up and I couldn’t be happier.

We got back home from our quick trip to Texas Monday afternoon and it’s always good to be back home.  We had a great time surprising Mom and Dad and the twins are such good travelers!  They were sure glad to get home and sleep in their own beds by Sunday night…they were getting rather tired after the almost 12 hour ride.  We had one melt down by Neyland when he needed…maybe insisted…on another dose of chap stick…better known to him as lipstick…because he thought his lips were going to “fall off”.  After he made this comment, he was able to have another good, thick dose of chap stick which cured the problem all was well once more.

We have been busy since we got home with cleaning the blue house…need to clean our house but it can wait…, unpacking done, suitcases put away, laundry completed, mowing lawns, and just playing catch up.  We are so blessed to have these to do and thank God daily for blessing us like he does.

Spring has sprung for now and I’m loving it.  The flowers I planted before we left are looking so pretty and let’s just pray this cold front coming our way won’t affect them in any way.  We aren’t suppose to plant those flowers until after derby…first weekend in May…but I just couldn’t wait.  I will wait on the tomatoes and ferns but I just had to have me some color in the two yards.

Guess that’s about it for now.  My heart grieves for those that were effected by the bombings in Boston and pray that healing can take place quickly.  I can’t imagine having so much hatred in my heart that I’d want to do something so terrible.  Come quickly Lord!!!

Blessings…..
