I called my parents today and Mother has developed a rather nasty cough since coming home from the hospital on Sunday. The last thing she wanted to do today is go back in to see her doctor but, I really encouraged,,,maybe insisted is a better word…she just go have the nurse/doctor listen to her lungs for any signs of pneumonia. She finally relented and dad was taking her in when they remembered her doctor’s office is closed on Wednesday afternoon. Therefore, they went to one of the emergency clinics to see if they would just listen. Well, after a lot of paper work and a long wait they finally saw a doctor.  After several test and x-rays, he diagnosed her with walking pneumonia…my prediction all the way from KY!  She got two shots in her hip today, plus an oral antibiotic, and will get two more shots tomorrow. Therefore, please pray for her to get well soon. She’s so tired of feeling bad and just wants to get back to being Ruby Mae!
We finally had a beautiful day with almost a full day of sunshine…got in the 50’s! Tomorrow is suppose to be even better and then another front will make it’s way here with cooler temperatures and rain. Just what we don’t need or want!
I enjoyed my lunch today with Mary. We didn’t have any agenda…we just spent the time getting to know each other…and, hopefully, we’ll do that again before long.Â
No real news…just want prayers for my mother. Thanks to all my praying warriors!
