Madison…

I wrote about Madison last evening but it’s disappeared this morning so should you be reading this twice…enjoy!  Madison began her track career this spring with her middle school…although she missed the first couple of weeks and events due to her broken ankle while playing volleyball for her school with the high school girls.  Once the ankle was healed, she was at it 100% because of her speed and ability to run.  This past Saturday we spent 8 hours at the UofL track complex watching the qualifying middle school track & field kids from all over the state compete.  We saw several state records broken and watched Madi shine the 40.97 seconds she’s was on!  She competed in both the 100 m. and the 200 m…winning both of her heats!  She ran the 100 m. in 13.33 seconds and the 200 m. in 27.64 seconds!  Now that’s fast!  She was competing against other girls in 6th-8th grade and blew right past them all!  She place 10th in the state for the 100 m. and 11th in the state for the 200 m.    Not bad for her very first year!  Way to go Madi!  We are all so proud of you and look forward to watching you run again next year.  Love, love, love this sweet girl!

Have a great week and thanks to all our Vets for helping to keep our country safe…which appears to be getting harder to do all the time.  Love to all.

Blessings………
