The month of May just flew by and now we’re getting ready for June. Why do these months seem to just fly by? Could it be I’m OLD and life is just flying by way to fast?   Yep…that’s the reason!
Not a lot going on right now but it seems we do manage to stay on the busy side. Yesterday we were blessed to have Melissa come for a visit while our trusty mechanic, Martin, worked on the brakes of her vehicle…along with reveal some other disturbing news that the warranty will take care of from where she bought it. We enjoyed having her and she even went to Grayson’s talent show at the elementary school…a good sport for sure!
June will be a really busy month as we are almost booked solid at the “blue house”, Ryan graduates on the 6th, we’re going to Cincinnati for a couple of days to celebrate our 51st anniversary and see the Reds play while there, head back to Louisville to celebrate with Ryan on the 9th with a graduation party, party with the Crockett’s on the 11th to celebrate Daniel’s 40th birthday, and just enjoy life on all the other days! Of course, we will also get to wish Linda Lou, Buddy, and Michael a happy birthday in the middle of all this! I am so thankful for each busy day and feel blessed that we are healthy enough to do all we do.
We’re having a neighborhood “backyard get together” Sunday evening and that should be fun…if the rain stays away. We have some sweet neighbors, former neighbors, and “want to be neighbors” and they love our backyard…so, another hot dog roast is coming up! Some of them are going to be moving away, since they graduated from the seminary last week, and will be going into various mission fields. Therefore, we wanted to have a final time together. Living in Wilmore has been a true blessing for us in meeting some really good people that have a great love for serving our Lord and wanting to share this love with those in other countries.
A big congratulations goes out to Carter and his team at Regions. They were #1 in the company for sales and they were all honored this past weekend at the beautiful Opry Land Hotel. Hard work does pay off! Guess that’s about it for now. So thankful we’re having some warm days, without the humidity, and enjoying all the beauty of spring! Love to all…
Blessings……..
