YEAH for RYAN….

Yesterday we made a quick trip to Louisville to watch Ryan graduate from Fern Creek High School.  The ceremony was well planned and MOST of the parents, etc. behaved as they were ask so all in all…it was a very good graduation ceremony!  After the ceremony, we were all treated by Byron to lunch at the Olive Garden…YUMMY!!!!  It’s hard to believe that Ryan will be attending UofL in the fall and we wish him nothing but the very best.  Love you, Ryan, and so very proud of you!

Before we left Louisville, we were able to visit Patty, Terri, and Margaret.  Patty is our friend battling liver cancer and she needs prayers as she’s in constant pain…such a sweet lady and one that loves the Lord deeply.  Her sister, Terri, was in a terrible motorcycle accident…they were hit by a drunk driver…and sustained lots of injuries but she survived while her friend did not.  Thankfully she received NO head injuries and is healing well.  Margaret is a friend from Okolona church and is just suffering from being “older”.  As she said…I’m just so wobbly!  All these ladies have blessed by life is many ways and I’m so thankful for each one.  There were others I’d have liked to visit but time wouldn’t permit it this trip.

Today will be another busy day with cleaning the “blue house”…more guest coming in this afternoon…plus all the stuff that normally fills up our days.  We’ll be having guest visit us later this afternoon and then have dinner with them before we all go to a dessert event at some other friends place this evening.  Also at some point we’ll get ready for our get-away trip to Cincinnati.  I’m really looking forward to going to Cincinnati with George to celebrate our 51st anniversary.  We know it will be a great time and more wonderful memories will be made.  On Sunday afternoon, we’ll head for Louisville for Ryan’s graduation party and then head back to Cincinnati for the Red’s ballgame that night.  Busy, busy, busy but fun, fun, fun!!!

We heard yesterday that Ronnie, Jim’s brother, was rushed from Jackson, TN to Nashville by ambulance due to some heart issues.  He had heart surgery once he was accessed and he’ll have a long recovery time.  Therefore, please pray for him and all his family.  So thankful for good medical care and a God that’s constant in his love and care for us all.

Guess I’d better get busy and complete some of the necessary task facing me today.  Have a great weekend and I’ll be back here on Monday, or Tuesday, with a report on our exciting weekend.  Love to you all.

Blessings……..
