Kyle just called me to let me know that his Quick Recall team from Fern Creek Elementary came in second place today during their final event for the year! He was really excited that one of the teams they were able to beat today had never been beaten…Oh the sweet taste of victory! They had four matches today and won three of them. Second place is really good for the first year and we couldn’t be more proud of him. WAY TO GO KYLE!!!
It’s still rather cold here today but we do have sunshine for now. It’s suppose to rain again tomorrow…what else is it suppose to do here on a Sunday?…and we are so ready for spring. It’s going to be a rather rainy week because it’s spring break time and rain always makes the week last longer.
Again no news worth telling but I did want to brag about another one of my really smart grandsons. If they had quick recall events when my kids were in school I didn’t know about them. Wonder why? All our children are smart and above average in so many ways!
George is helping with Jerod and Blake’s ball team today and he was taking a surprise to Meredith…a snake! I’m sure she will be thrilled but I do have some doubts about the excitement her Mom may have. A snake is a snake regardless of size. He picked it up while riding his bike today and he knew better than to show it to me. I have zero love for them and don’t even like to see a dead one! Maybe that goes back to the garden! Eve gave me these genetic feelings towards snakes…that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
