Not only can we look at the calendar to see that summer has officially arrived, but we can walk out the door and just feel the heat and HUMIDITY to reinforce its arrival. The last couple of days have been rather warm and it will remain this way for all of next week and I’m loving it! Warm (hot) is so much better than the cold (freezing) of winter.
Still not much going on around here and that’s always a good thing, I guess.  I think we’re going to go to an art fair either today, or tomorrow after church, to do some “looking” as we have a friend that’s showing his photography there. I like looking and very seldom buy anything, as I have no wants or needs that I can think of, but it is fun to just be there and see what people spend their time making. Some of the people are a lot more interesting than the “ART”.
I have been doing some knitting and crocheting lately and that’s been good for me. I love doing both and now that my shoulder is well I’m back at it. George continues to create some really nice wood items out in his workshop…to give away to whomever wants a piece or two…so, retirement has made us both rather crafty OLD folks!
We are so thankful that Ronnie has been able to be moved back to Jackson to continue his recovery from his surgery. He’s a living miracle and, of course, God get’s all the glory for his healing…along with the knowledge of the Vandy medical team that knew how to fix his problem.  Continue praying for total healing and his ability to get back to living life as he’d like.
Guess I’ve bored you long enough as I have nothing else to say. Hopefully all the birthdays this week were celebrated well and this next year will even be better for each of them. Have a good weekend, stay cool, and don’t forget to gaze out at the moon tonight…suppose to be full and close to the earth. God continues to entertain us with all of his splendor and I will continue to rejoice with Him as I enjoy it. Love to all!
